In addition to our commemorative windows, the Lindenhurst Memorial Library has a collection of stars to commemorate our veterans. Blue stars honor living or deceased veterans and the gold stars honor veterans killed in action. The blue stars are now permanently mounted in a handsome display case on the west wall of the library main reading room. Gold stars are mounted on the stain glass windows themselves.
