Adult Computer Sign Up

To Use a Computer

A Lindenhurst Memorial Library card in good standing is required. Only patrons with cards that have not expired, and who owe less than $10 in fees have access.

An Adult card will be stamped “Adult” or "Video."

A Teen card with Adult access (Grades 9-12, under age 18) will have a green Internet label indicating written parental permission has been granted. Permission forms for Teen internet use are available at the Circulation Desk. Teens without a green sticker will not be allowed access to the internet.


Adult non-residents are given guest passes upon presentation of one of the following:

1. Library card from another town
2. Driver’s license
3. Other ID with a name, address and photo.

Please renew your library card and pay off your fines in order to retain access to our computers.

Child Computer Sign Up

A Lindenhurst Memorial Library children’s card in good standing is required. A child now may obtain a library card beginning at birth.

Only patrons with cards that have not expired, and who owe less than $10 in fees have access.

A parent must give written permission for internet use by the child. A yellow label will be placed on the child’s card (preschool - 8th) when this is done.

Please renew your library card and pay off fines in order to have access to the computers.

Permission forms for children’s Internet use are available at the Circulation Desk.
