FYI - The ESL HELP Home Study Program will no longer be offered by Western Suffolk Boces due to NY State budget cuts. See this informational flyer for more details.

 

FEMARepresentatives from FEMA
(Federal Emergency Management Agency) will be in the library’s small meeting room on Friday, June 1 from 10:30 to 1:30 PM, and Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 5:00-7:30 PM, to assist those people affected by Hurricane Irene.


BoatBoating Safety Course
Saturday, June 9, 2012
9:30 - 4:30 PM
Offered by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 1-5, this boating course stresses safety equipment, rules, boat handling and more. This course also meets all current NYS and Federal requirements for PWC (Jet-Ski) operators. Upon satisfactory completion of this course and exam, a certificate will be issued that is honored by many insurance companies for reduced rates.
Registration takes place at 9:00 am before the start of the class on Saturday, June 9, 2012.
